It was extended to November 18 the deadline for paper submission to the XVI Brazilian Remote Sensing Symposium (Simpósio Brasileiro de Sensoriamento Remoto - SBSR), to take place at Foz do Iguaçu (PR), Brazil, from April 13 to 18, 2013. Promoted by the National Institute for Space Research (Instituto Nacional de Pesquisas Espaciais - INPE) and the Society of Latin American Specialists in Remote Sensing (SELPER), the Symposium is considered the biggest in Brazil on technologies concerning satellites and geoprocessing.

The paper can only be submitted by the website http://www.dsr.inpe.br/sbsr2013/homenglish.html.

It is possible to submit papers in two categories – Regular Papers or Papers of Undergraduate Research. Approved papers may be presented in the Technical Session or in the Interactive Panel Session, according to the recommendation of the Technical and Scientific Committee, responsible for reviewing the submitted papers.

The Committee will consider the importance and originality of the subject, theme relevance and adherence to the conference scope, scientific rigour and quality of data analysis, text clearness and presentation quality, and format according to the instructions.

Only full papers with up to eight (8) pages, including figures, tables, equations, and references will be accepted, in PDF format, up to 4Mb. Paper manuscripts must follow the instructions available at http://www.dsr.inpe.br/sbsr2013/instructionsauthors.html
